Modern living conditions dictate the need to prepare students in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. Training in a foreign language involves the formation and development of foreign language communicative competence, which will allow the future specialist to freely interact with native speakers.

Within the framework of mastering foreign language communicative competence, four types of activity are important: reading, writing, speaking and listening. It is logical that all these activities are equivalent and interrelated.

Listening is one of the most difficult activities. However, at the same time, it is a powerful means of mastering the sound side of the language, its phonemic composition, rhythm, melody, stress. In addition, in the process of mastering listening skills, the grammatical structure and lexical composition of the language are mastered. The most important thing that gives the development of listening is the perception of foreign speech by ear.
