INTRODUCTION

The tense-and-temporal system of the English language allows expressing numerous semantic nuances and shades of meaning in the text, which correlate with the syntactic structure of the English language in the English sentence. The tenses of the English verb are used in texts not only for the direct transmission of information, but also for introducing additional semantic features into the text. Mostly such information concerns information about time, as well as the sequence of actions, the impact of actions, etc.

The tenses being the part to the Perfect group are used to indicate actions that have already been completed by a certain period of time. Actions indicated by perfect tenses usually imply the presence of a result that is preserved at the time of its mentioning.
