Different essential factors lead to the rise of need in qualified personnel. To such factors I can refer changes in political and economical life of the country, strong competitiveness, new technologies, responsibility of directors, etc. I am sure that nowadays strong managerial staff of the company is the twofold benefit of is. Consequently, the need of personnel testing and assessment is clear.

According to U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration, personnel assessment is a “systematic approach to gathering information about individuals . In other words, personnel assessment is the definition of qualification level of personnel, of each employee’s business and personal qualities.

It must be noted that several years ago the work with personnel consisted in arrangements on selection and hiring of personnel. The main idea was the following: if you can find necessary people, these people can do their job by all means. But in modern organizations there is an assertion that hiring of necessary people is just the beginning. The most resources of a company are its material objects which value is continuously decreasing. But the value of people resources must be increasing with every year. When people work with less enthusiasm, interaction between departments is strained and there are great faults in the work, the presidents of the organization should understand that it’s time to take care of personnel testing and assessment.
